“EVES CLINIC NURSING HOME & POLYCLINIC”, was founded in JUNE 1996 by Late Gouranga Paul (a visionary, garments industrialist, socialist) along with full support of his sons Mr. Gouri Sankar Paul & Mr. Goutam Paul as Co- founders, in LOVING MEMORY of Late Radha Rani Paul (wife of Late Gouranga Paul, founder) It was built to serve and cater health care to all at nominal costs.
This multispecialty health setup initially started off with dedicated OPD services & IPD services with 15 beds (wards, AC & NON AC rooms) having homely atmosphere with two fully equipped 24 hrs operational OT services, in various Surgical disciplines, Medical cases, Maternal Care with PHOTOTHERAPY cum WARMER for neonates. From the beginning itself, this Institute was privileged to have eminent Doctors from all over Kolkata (Physicians, Cardiologists , Surgeons, Gynecologists and other various branches of Medicine & Surgery) & allied health care experts & experienced Nursing staffs, at the service for critical as well as non critical patients, round the clock.
Located at a very prominent location at DUM DUM Junction, soon this institute became one of the popular health care amongst the local population & health care experts. Over the years, this Nursing Home keeps on providing basic & advanced health care services successfully to their patients.
Over the past few years, this Institute grew brick by brick and now boasts to conduct Super specialty services like Pediatric Surgery, Oncological services (Surgical Oncology as well as Medical Oncology), Super specialty OPD & IPD services in various branches of Surgery & Medicine, ENT related endoscopy facilities. This Institute also developed another New Modern OT setup, equipped with LATEST MICRO SURGICAL & LAPAROSCOPIC & ENDOSCOPIC Surgical equipments with Anesthesia work station. This Institute has also built up dedicated ICU facilities (5 beds with latest Multipara Monitors, ultra modern Ventilators, Defibrillators, Infusion pumps, ABG machines and other latest gadgets & equipments, to cater health services to critical patients
EVES CLINIC NURSING HOME, have also increased its OPD facilities as well as INDOOR BED CAPACITY. ALL wards are Air conditioned for patients’ comfort, and all beds are equipped with CENTRAL LINE HIGH FLOW OXYGEN supply. Even this Institute has recently built in House PHARMACY for OPD/IPD patients & for general population in needs. We also provide EMERGENCY SERVICES (in specialized departments).
During the first wave and second wave of COVID 19 pandemic, this Nursing Home was the only health facility to treat COVID positive patients in NORTH DUM DUM region. IT also serves as authorized collection centre for COVID 19 SWAB test for RTPCR.
EVES CLINIC NURSING HOME has also being recognized by the Ministry of Health, GOVT of INDIA & GOVT of WEST BENGAL, as the only Authorized private COVID 19 vaccination centre (PCVC ID – P769900) within PIN CODE 700030 of KOLKATA. It boasts to have widely participated for the Country’s COVID 19 vaccination drive, & has successfully vaccinated many thousands of beneficiaries amongst 18 years of age & above & still continuing to do so.
